LeBron Provides Update On His Groin Injury After Game Vs. Clippers

LeBron James suffered a terrible groin injury in the game against the Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day. The team has offered an update.

The groin injury kept LeBron out of the floor for over a month. The Lakers had too much trouble without their star player, and went down in the Western Conference. The good news is that LeBron is ready to hit the floor again. Kyle Kuzma is back in the game, too. In other words, the Los Angeles Lakers have no excuses now so they better win some games.

The Lakers own the ninth seed in the Western Conference. They had a chance to make a huge step towards the top of the Conference in the game against the Clippers. However, the Clippers were not ready to give up and earned a spot in the playoff picture for a good reason. Yes, the Lakers really needed to win this one. And so they did.

Winning is not always nice or pretty, especially when players destroy their own chances to take a lead. LeBron jumped in to help his teammates, and the strong overtime period said it all.

LeBron was not completely healthy, but he tried really hard. He played his typical minutes and a full overtime. According to him, he is still at 80 percent.

“Final: Lakers 123, Clippers 120, in OT. LAL close LAC’s lead to 1 game in the West standings. LeBron James played 40 minutes towards 24P, 14R and 9A, and said in the @SpectrumSN he’s at “80%”, and will immediately start treatment, and see how he feels tomorrow,” Trudell reported.

It is funny how LeBron was ruled out yesterday and was upgraded to doubtful earlier that day. This man tried really hard, and that’s why everyone calls him the king of basketball. Keep up the good job, King James!
