NBA Media React To Team LeBron Winning The All-Star Game
Many said that LeBron James and his friends do not have a chance against Team Giannis. It turns out that LeBron knew what he was doing as his team won the All-Star Game. King James is in perfect shape, and all the reports saying he gained weight are wrong. Well, we cannot really say much about his weight, but LeBron was LeBron last night. Team LeBron won the All-Star Game and the NBA media had the perfect reaction.
There are too many highlights of the game, and experts sure like to talk about the way Team LeBron showed awesome skills. Some call it “Team Tampering,” but we know that those guys were just interested in playing basketball. That’s all. Kevin Durant was not really happy with the way haters commented, and decided to prove them wrong.
“So much hype comes from being around LeBron from other people,” Durant said in one of his interviews. “He has so many fanboys in the media. Even the beat writers just fawn over him. I’m like, we’re playing basketball here, and it’s not even about basketball at certain points. So I get why anyone wouldn’t want to be in that environment because it’s toxic. Especially when the attention is bulls— attention, fluff. It’s not LeBron’s fault at all; it’s just the fact you have so many groupies in the media that love to hang on every word. Just get out of the way and let us play basketball.”
If you ask LeBron, he will say the same thing. He came to win.
“You put me on the floor, I love to compete,” James said after the game. . “I’m a competitor, no matter what it is. I’m competing to see if I can get to this table first.” He asked if other players had given interviews before him. LeBron got a ‘no’ for answer, and said, “See what I’m talking about? See you all the second half of the season.”
