Lonzo Ball Reveals The Awesome Advice He Received From LeBron During Their First Season Together

Lonzo Ball is living the dream of every basketball player. The young Laker is playing alongside LeBron James. Moreover, they are really good friends. Media members confirmed that the friendship between LeBron and his younger teammate is really great. King James even advises Lonzo whenever he has a problem including the problems he had in Big Baller.

Ball was just five when the Cleveland Cavaliers drafted LeBron as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. Last summer, LeBron decided to sign a four-year deal with Ball’s team. Ball went on “The House of Highlights Show,” and talked about the first time he heard about LeBron’s arrival in Los Angeles. He was really surprised. I mean, LeBron was coming to town, there was no other way to experience that.

“I had a good feeling,” Ball said. “I found on Twitter just like everybody else. And I just looked at my phone that was going crazy. Everybody was telling me I was teammates with LeBron. I looked up Woj and it was on there, and there it was.”

Ball and LeBron are building a strong relationship off and on the court. The young player received great advice from the four-time league MVP.

“He tells me ‘keep the main thing the main thing,’” Ball revealed. “He tells me that every day. Basically saying basketball is how you eat, how you feed your family and everything. As long as you put that first, everything’s going to work out. He tells me that every day.”

LeBron is loyal to this advice, and he still believes that basketball should be a top priority for his teammates.

“Basketball: if that’s not the most important thing, then why we doing this?” LeBron said. “Is this the most important thing in yo’ life at this time? You give it all to the game and if you feel like you’ve given your all to it, then you have nothing to look back on and you can do other things. But if you feel like you haven’t given as much as you can, then you can’t focus on anything else.”
