Dont’a Hightower Down A Few Pounds, Looks Completely Different In This Photo

Dont’a Hightower is determined to change his physical appearance, and fans say he looks like a completely different person.

The 29-year-old worked out with Patriots guard Shaq Mason, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Benny Cunningham and Jeremy Holt, a former receiver for Division II Harding University. Holt posted a photo of the players after the workout they had, and what can we say, Hightower looks unrecognizable.

Hightower said he’s operating at 250-255 pounds. In other words, the three-time Super Bowl champion is determined to do a really good job this season. If by any chance you didn’t know it, Hightower entered the National Football League at 270 pounds.

Hightower was happy with the way his team rolls throughout the season.

I feel like we are taking the right strides,” he said. “I feel like each week and we prepare the best way that we can. Most of the time we come out with a good game plan and we come in with corrections to make on the sideline, so hopefully we continue do that and get better at those adjustments on the sidelines.

“I feel like I am getting better each week and I hope to keep continuing to do that. I still missed a couple of days, a couple missed assignments, or whatever. I am just going to keep continuing to stride to be better each week.”

2018 was brilliant for Hightower. He was really great on the field and you can tell that by the numbers his posted. The Patriots were criticized this season, and some said they would fail to make the Super Bowl. Well, they ended up winning it. There’s no need to say anything else. Hightower and his teammates are off to another win.

“That means a lot,” Hightower said in January about his healthy season. “Like you said, my time on the field hasn’t always been as much as I wanted it to be, but this year it’s meant a lot to me. I’ve been out there, I’ve been able to play, I’ve been able to be with my teammates from OTAs to minicamp, so I’ve enjoyed it.”
