Report: LeBron James Recruits Kawhi Leonard On Twitter

The Los Angeles Lakers may try to get another great player this summer, and that’s exactly what they need to become contenders. Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant are set to become free agents, and pundits have already linked them to the Lakers.

LeBron has been recruiting since the very first moment he inked his deal with the Lakers. Pelicans star Anthony Davis signed a deal with Klutch Sports, the agency that represents LeBron. Davis used the opportunity to request a trade from the team. He tried to leave the team, but Magic Johnson and the Pelicans couldn’t reach an agreement and the whole thing went down the hill.

This wasn’t the only move LeBron made when he drafted his players for the All-Star Game, LeBron selected Davis, Irving, Leonard and Klay Thompson. Yes, each of these players may join the Lakers this offseason.

LeBron’s recent tweet was interpreted as an attempt to recruit Leonard. Again. Leonard had one of his best games after scoring 45 points in a Game 1 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. What did LeBron do?

We all know that this is more than a hand. Let’s compare this to Leonard’s personal logo.

This hand forms a “K” and an “L,” and these are the initials of the player. Leonard is also known for his huge hands. Those hands helped him turn into one of the greatest defensive agents in the entire history of the league.

LeBron may be missing the playoffs, but he has so much to do. We aren’t really buying the story that he was just chilling and watching the Toronto Raptors play one of their playoff games. Did he just write a recruiting message? Probably.

The Lakers star did a similar thing when his team confronted the Raptors earlier in the regular season.

Leonard hasn’t revealed much about his free agency, and analyst have put the Lakers in a distand third at the moment. The Clippers are considered a favorite destination. They offer a readymade playoff team and a chance to become undisputed franchise player. The Lakers can’t afford that. What will happen next?
