Revealed: The Truth Behind The Viral Photo of Beyoncé, Jay-Z And the Golden State Warriors Owner’s Wife

How strong is the Beyhive? Well, they strike every time Queen B is in danger. Or something like that. Beyoncé and Jay Z attended Game 3 of the NBA Finals Wednesday, and there was one particular photo that went viral.

In this photo, the wife of Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob, Nicole Curran, leans over Beyoncé to talk to Jay Z. So, fans jumped into supporting their queen and trolled Curran.

A senior writer for ESPN talked to Curran, and found out that Nicole had to deactivate her Instagram account as there were too many threats on her address.

“Just spoke to Nicole Curran, the wife of Warriors owner Joe Lacob, about the ‘incident’ with Beyoncé last night,” Ramona Shelburne tweeted. “She was in tears. Said she had been getting death threats on social media all night this morning she disabled her IG account just to make it stop.”

Shelburne said Curran wasn’t even aware of the problems she caused with her interaction with the couple. Fans were really upset, and she found out about it when she got home and saw all the messages from her friends. So, she checked her social media account.

Curran told Sheburne that she has invited Beyoncé and her husband to games before, and there was no problem about it. Nobody criticized her interaction with the couple before. She just asked them if they want drinks and brought some.

“Curran says Jay Z asked for a vodka soda. She asked if he wanted lime with that,” Shelburne tweeted. “But it was loud in Oracle and she couldn’t hear, so she leaned over. That’s where the photos of Beyoncé looking askance at her come from.”

“Curran says she then went to go get them those drinks. ‘There was no hostility. I was trying to be a good hostess,’ she said. ‘I’ve never experienced cyberbullying like this. I can’t believe our players go through this. That kids go through this.'”

Well, we know that things can go out of control sometimes, but this time fans went a little too far. Threatening someone over such a  normal situation? That’s crazy.
