Report: Tom Brady Offered Antonio Brown Chance to Live With Him in New England

Antonio Brown is now playing with the New England Patriots, and it looks like his new teammates approve his signing. Prior to the Patriots’ season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, NBC commentator Al Michaels revealed that Brady was offered to do something special for his new teammate.

In order to help Brown feel at home, the Patriots quarterback said he would be happy to have the receiver in his home. Let’s not forget that this is Brown’s third team in six months.

Michaels said: “[Patriots owner Robert Kraft] also told me when he broke the news to Tom Brady yesterday, Brady initially said ‘I’m 100 percent in.’ Two minutes later, Tom came back and said to Kraft ‘I’m 1,000 percent in.’ Then he came back two minutes later and said ‘I’m a million percent in.’

“And finally, I just talked to Drew Rosenhaus who made the deal, who’s Brown’s agent, and Drew said Brady told Brown come move in with me until you get settled in New England.”

Brady isn’t the only Patriot who is looking forward to play with the best NFL receiver. Julian Edelman likes his new teammate, despite all the drama that surrounds him.

“Gotta love football here,”  Edelman after New England opened the new season with a 33-3 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“We like football players that love football,” Edelman said. “We all have that same kind of love for the game. It can work out really well. We look forward to that. He’s a playmaker. And the more playmakers you have, the more dynamic it will be.”

Brown is a really talented player. However, his talent is overshadowed by the drama, and some teams don’t like any of that in their locker room. Well, we know that the Patriots are willing to accept troubled and talented players. It’s all about talent.

The Patriots agreed to a one-year deal with Brown hours after his release from the Raiders. His new contract sort of fixed his reputation. He lost out on $29 million in guaranteed money from the Raiders. What about next season? The Patriots won’t have any problem with their new player.
