Six Hall Of Fame QBs Describe What Makes Tom Brady Greatest Of All Time

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time. That’s what every Patriots fans, and even the fans of opposite teams agree on that one. A group of six Hall of Fame quarterbacks agree, too.

Roger Staubach, Dan Fouts, Joe Namath, John Elway, Kurt Warner and Jim Kelly say that Brady is the greatest of all time. The signal-callers shard their opinion in the NFL Network special, “Roundtables.”

NFL Network shared a tease video of the episode Friday, and we have some of the arguments.

“Brady has got an amazing ability to read the defense quickly and going to the right receiver,” Staubach said. “Because you don’t have a whole lot of extra time anymore.”

“Tom is the best,” Namath said. “I’ve been asked that question for many years — and Johnny (Unitas) was my hero, Otto Graham was great, Slingin’ Sammy Baugh, I go back, these guys are great. But meantime, Tom has been challenged more in recent history certainly with huge games than anybody I can recollect — and he stepped up every time.

“I would have to say he’s the best at answering the challenge there ever was, yes. I’ve not seen anybody have that many big games and answer the challenge as well as he has.

“I have not seen Tom Brady lose a game for his team.

“You know, from what I’ve surmised after watching Tom, he’s had some great opportunities because of his team and his experience. And he’s owned up, he’s stepped up. He’s answered that challenge more times than anybody and he’s brilliant. If you gotta say ‘who’s the best of all time,’ well given the numbers, being the championships, Tom is. But still, you go back, (Joe) Montana was special. (Terry) Bradshaw was special.”

Well, Brady doesn’t like being called the GOAT, because it makes him cringe. He will have to get used to that, because he really is the greatest of all times.

The Patriots are 6-0 at this point of the regular season, and they are off to the New York Jets. Thanks to Brady, the team scores better than ever.
