Watch: Bill Belichick Announces Patriots Players They Have Day Off, Locker Room Goes Wild

The New England Patriots struggled to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles, but they won the game. The 17-10 win didn’t look too pretty because the players hoped to score more points, but it’s still a win, right? The Patriots are 9-1 at this point of the regular season, and they own their division. This was an important win for the team, and they are off to another win. Head coach Bill Belichick was satisfied with the team effort that led to a win, and had a big surprise for the team. A well-deserved day off.

The Patriots scored just touchdown in the game. It was thrown by Julian Edelman to Phillip Dorsett in the third quarter of the game. The offense was sort of fine, but Brady was really frustrated over their play. Unlike the offense, the defense was awesome, and they actually made up for the damage caused by offensive players.

Belichick was in a really good mood, and he even joked saying his players “had fun out there” at Lincoln Financial Field. Well, before the joke Belichick had a surprise for his players as they hit the locker room after the big win.

“You know what I think we’re ready for?” the head coach said with a smile. “I think we’re ready for Victory Monday.”

The crowd went wild. Victory Monday gives each player the day off, meaning they won’t get back to the facility until Wednesday. There’s a video of the celebration, and let’s just say we were more than excited to see the players cheer on their big win.

The game was a real struggle, and although pretty much every player tried to contribute to the action, but it wasn’t enough for the players to score more points. Brady would’ve wanted them to score more, but you can’t turn back time.

Head coach Belichick will help the guys overcome the issues they had on the field. The Philadelphia Eagles are a tough opponent. Let’s see what happens next Sunday. It will be an important day for the team. We do hope for another win though. Game on, Patriots!
