Julian Edelman Rips Spygate II Cheating Allegations… ‘Patriots are NOT cheaters’

The Cincinnati Bengals got pretty upset with the Patriots cameraman pointing his camera at their sideline in Cleveland. The Bengals were playing the Browns, and they accuse the New England Patriots of sending their production team to Cleveland to record their sideline. New England got into trouble and the NFL got involved. NFL Commissioner promised to solve the problem, and they will also take into consideration the problems New England had in the past. Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman addressed the Spygate II scandal, and let’s just say that he made a pretty good point.

“We haven’t even thought about it, honestly,” Edelman says. “We have been thinking about other things. It’s funny, but it is what it is.”

New England is accused of cheating after their cameraman was caught taping the Bengals’ sideline days before their game last weekend.

Edelman appeared on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show” and said his team didn’t cheat. According to him, the video was made for a special show.

“Do you think — I don’t know, it’s ridiculous,” Edelman says. “My focus is on the Buffalo Bills.”

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said pretty much the same thing. “I don’t think any player gave it one second of thought,” TB12 said.

The cameraman had no intention to harm the team and their chances to win a title this season.

“I had no intention to provide footage to football operations, I did not provide any footage, and I was never asked to do so.”

Goodell is launching an investigation into the case, and the scandal doesn’t look too good for the Patriots. They don’t need this scandal at this point of the regular season. Hopefully, everything will end well for the Patriots.

New England has two games left of the regular season. They are off to the Bills, and that’s an important game. Head coach Bill Belichick will do his best to help the team win this game.

The Patriots have already been here, but this scandal has nothing to do with the team and their play. Let’s hope that the Patriots will win the last two games of the season.
