Anthony Davis Reveals Why Pick-And-Roll With LeBron Has Been So Effective

The Los Angeles Lakers have an excellent season and LeBron James and Anthony Davis makes the perfect duo. These two can do wonders, and they are really effective together in pick-and-roll action this season. LeBron has run pick-and-roll with All-Stars Chris Bosh and Kevin Love, but he has never had a teammate like Davis. The former Pelican is dominant and versatile, and LeBron need his talent on the floor.

Davis totaled 46 points and 13 rebounds against the New Orleans Pelicans. He helps LeBron in his efforts to lead the NBA in assists. Following the big win over his former team, Davis discussed why his pick-and-roll with LeBron has been so successful.

“The two-man game pick-and-roll is tough to guard,” he said. “When you have a guy like LeBron going downhill at the big, and then me rolling to the basket. You kind of have to pick your poison.

“He does a great job of reading it, when to pass it and when to go finish. It’s been effective. We’re constantly learning each other, trying to get better and finding ways to score besides the pick-and-roll. But it’s been effective for us.”

The team will play at Staples Center against Derrick Rose, Andre Drummond and the Detroit Pistons. Things look really good for the Lakers, and they are on a good way to win this title. LeBron scores triple-doubles in almost every game, and his points have helped the team win games. Davis joined the team to help them win a title, and LeBron really likes his game. Although many say that the Lakers gave up on too many assets to sign Davis, LeBron is pretty happy with his teammate.
