Rob Pelinka Reveals Final Text He Received From Kobe Bryant

The death of Kobe Bryant shocked the entire nation. It was hard to believe that the Black Mamba is gone forever. Kobe was traveling with his daughter and seven others when the helicopter crashed outside Calabasas. It was a tragic crash, and there are no survivors. Investigators have yet to finish the investigation. Today was Kobe Bryant’s memorial, and everyone recalled their final words with Kobe. Los Angeles Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka was texting with Bryan right before the helicopter crashed.

Pelinka revealed that in his final text, Bryant talked about the person he was trying to help at that moment. The Lakers general manager was in church when the Black Mamba texted him. He usually ignores text messages, but this time responded. He was more than relieved about this.

Bryant texted Pelinka asking about a California-based baseball agent. The Lakers legend explained that he was trying to give a young girl a baseball internship. Pelinka knew the person, and he was ready to help the girl. A few moments later, the helicopter crashed.

It turns out that the girl Bryant was trying to help is actually the surviving daughter of John Altobelli. The Orange Coast College baseball coach died in the same helicopter crash.

Pelinka has much respect for Kobe

“Kobe’s last human act was heroic,” Pelinka said at the end of his speech. “He wanted to use his platform to bless and shape a young girl’s future. Hasn’t Kobe done that for all of us.”

NBA fans are devastated. Today was a hard day for everyone. It was hard hearing all those people talk about Bryant’s greatness. We know he was great. That’s why we will miss him so much. Bryant was all about building a legacy, and it was never about him. He wanted to build a better future for the kids. That’s exactly what he was doing moments before his death.

The world will remember Kobe as one of the greatest players to ever play the game. He was an icon, and his legacy will help young players develop into great stars. His family goes through a nightmare now, and we are sending our thoughts and prayers.
