Lakers Superstar LeBron James Sends Message To Teammates On Brink Of Elimination

The Los Angeles Lakers have lost three straight games in the series to the Denver Nuggets. It was a huge challenge for the purple and gold and it seems like Nikola Jokic and his teammates are getting the best of the game. Well, LeBron James is not worried about it and even delivered a message for his Lakers teammates.

It looks like adding salt to the injury because the Nuggets actually sent LA home last season after leading 4-0 in the Western Conference Finals.

“It’s one game at a time, at this point,” LeBron told the media in his postgame press conference. “You lose, you go home. So we’re going come in with the mindset of, ‘Let’s get one.’ Force a Game 5 and then we go from there. So as long as you still have life, then you always have belief. I just think you play until the wheels fall off.”

LeBron dropped a honest take about his Lakers teammates

It was an ugly 112-105 loss for the Lakers and it was more than obvious that some players didn’t do their homework. D’Angelo Russell didn’t score in the game and Austin Reaves was the lone bright star next to LeBron and Anthony Davis.

Are players tired? Did they crumble under the pressure? LeBron decided to not say a word. Everyone acts different in the postseason. LeBron has been around for a while and he knows it well. We also know that Russell may not be the best option for any playoff team. He was a big deal in the second half of the season, but his postseason struggles showed up again.

“You’d have to ask the individuals that question and see how they feel. It’s hard for me just to be like, ‘This is what I think that guy feels.’ … I can’t do that. I’m not a mind reader. I don’t know.”

LeBron is all-in when it comes to winning titles. He has four rings and could easily add a few more. The same goes to AD. The Lakers big man won one title with the team and it’s not enough.

“Me and this guy [Davis] have been playing together for six years,” James said. “We’ve been to the mountaintop. We’ve been close to the mountaintop. We’ve played a lot of games. We know what it takes to win. We know what it takes to win a championship and how damn near perfect you got to be. That’s not like something that’s so crazy to obtain.”
