Watch: Rajon Rondo Tosses Ball After Whistle and Nails Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in the Head

The Los Angeles Lakers are going full speed forward. The team hosted the Boston Celtics at Staples Center, and it was an incredible game for both franchises. LA tried to build on their lead in the Western Conference. Things got a little heated up, and Rajon Rondo sent the ball straight to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Well, he sort of hit him in the head.

Rondo stole the ball of Celtic forward Jayson Tatum, but referees shut down the play. Rondo heard the whistle and launched the ball high into the air. It was more than obvious that he was frustrated. The ball fell down in the most brilliant way and hit Caldwell-Pope. He didn’t see this coming.

Rondo knows how to surprise fans during games against his former team. His play is always intense, and he is really focused on the game. Caldwell-Pope just found himself in the wrong place. Rondo was raging, and maybe his teammates should have waited somewhere else.

Rondo, Caldwell-Pope, Davis and LeBron will take the Lakers to the Finals

Same as the All-Star game, this was yet another game dedicated to Kobe Bryant. Players honored the Black Mamba in so many ways. Celtics players wore special forearm bands to honor the great legend. Celtics legend Bill Russell wore Kobe Bryant jersey. The Lakers are old rivals of Boston, but Russell got over the rivalry, and honored Bryant.

LA players are making their way to the finals, and they are ready to do whatever it takes to win the title this season. According to recent reports, they are getting Markieff Morris. For many analysts, this is the final puzzle of the championship title. Morris’ shooting will be of great help for the Lakers. It’s not like they need help. But, they could really use a skilled player. Morris would be an excellent fit for LeBron, Anthony Davis and the rest of the players.

The Lakers are on the top of the Western Conference, and they keep stacking wins. This would be an amazing season for the team, and fans are waiting for the title. This would be the first championship since Kobe Bryant’s last title as a Laker. LA hasn’t made the postseason for six years.
