LeBron James Named NBA Western Conference Player of the Month

Lakers superstar LeBron James has been named NBA Western Conference Player of the Month for his performance in February. The information was confirmed by several sources today.

LeBron averaged 26.0 points (.497 FG%), 8.1 rebounds and 10.1 assists while leading his team to a 9-2 record in February. In 10 games, LeBron recorded 10 double-digit scoring performances. He had six games with 20+ points, four games with 30+ and a season-high 40 points once. This is LeBron’s first 40-point game since Dec. 5, 2018. The Lakers have a brilliant perfect 19-0 record when LeBron stacks at least 30 points this season. The king of basketball recorded double-digit assists in five contests. LeBron finished the month with five double-doubles, and this includes two triple-doubles.

In the regular season, LeBron is averaging 25.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, a career-best 10.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 34.9 minutes per game. His team has the best record in the Western Conference and sits on top of every list.

LeBron will get another Western Conference Player of the Month award

In February, the Lakers superstar moved to fifth place on the NBA’s all-time free throws list. At this point, he is just the 13th player in NBA history with at least 2,000 steals.

LeBron is the league leader in total assists, assists per game, double-digit assist games and triple-doubles. He earned his NBA-record 40th career monthly award. If by any chance you didn’t know, LeBron is the first Lakers player to earn this award on multiple straight occasions. Late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant did this in December 2008 and January 2009.

LeBron will take his Lakers to a title this season. He receives a lot of help from his teammates. Anthony Davis is doing a really good job, and every other player on the roster has stepped up the game. LA has a good chance to win a championship. Hopefully, its superstars will stay healthy enough to finish the season with a big award. LeBron is also the best candidate for the NBA MVP award this season. He is much better than any other candidate. Will LeBron receive this brilliant award this season? We don’t know. Many analysts claim that Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo receives better treatment.
