Gronk Cracks Hilarious XFL Joke On Tom Brady’s Free Agency

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is in the center of every story these days. He is about to enter the open market for the first time in his career, and we’ve heard so many different stories about his next move. Fans and analysts keep sharing their take on Brady’s contract situation. Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is here for the jokes. Gronk made the most hilarious joke about Brady’s free agency, and it will sure make your day.

Gronk and former Patriots offensive lineman Matt Light hosted “Race To The Finish Line,” a fundraiser for the Light Foundation and the GronkNation Youth Foundation Boston Marathon teams. The duo talked about Brady’s situation and the decision he is about to make. Light had a business-like approach to the story, but Gronk decided to make a joke. In his own brilliant way. He always makes the best jokes. He knows how to make people laugh.

“… It does make it fun,” Gronk said during the fundraiser. “I understand people stress out over it. But if you look at it the other way, it’s kind of fun. He’s going out there one day and he’s going to another team the next day. Man, it’s crazy. I was hoping he’d go to the XFL with the ‘He Hate Me’ on the back (of his jersey).”

The retired tight end referred to Rod Smart who gave himself the nickname “He Hate Me” and put it on the back of his No. 30 Las Vegas Outlaws jersey. When asked about the “gesture,” he pointed at players and shouted, “He hate me! And he hate me! And he hate me!”

Tom Brady’s free agency is a hot topic!

Is Gronk’s joke out of context? I don’t think so.

Brady doesn’t have any time for jokes. He will have a short family vacation these days. This will give him plenty of time to bring a decision. Brady has yet to meet with head coach Bill Belichick. However, there were reports suggesting that these two talked on the phone, suggesting that the conversation didn’t go well. The only thing we can do at the moment is wait and see what happens with the Patriots and the star quarterback.
