New England Patriots Reportedly Contacted Cowboys’ Wide Receiver

Amari Cooper has no plans for the offseason, and he really likes the Dallas Cowboys. However, the New England Patriots have contacted the Dallas Cowboys’ wide receiver. Will head coach Bill Belichick go after a new target?

The 25-year-old wideout talked to the Patriots, and we have every right to believe that he will make a different decision in free agency. The New England Patriots are pretty determined to make changes this offseason. They need a wideout and they also need a tight end. The team didn’t have much success with the offense last offseason. They really need to make a change. Is Cooper their next target?

“There will be a frenzy if Dallas lets him walk,” Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman wrote. “New England has been connected to Coop.”

The Patriots need the Dallas Cowboys’ receiver

The 25-year-old could be the ultimate weapon for quarterback Tom Brady. Of course, this will happen if Brady decides to re-sign with the Patriots. This quarterback will hopefully stay in New England. The six-time Super Bowl-winning will enter the free-agent market on March 18.

Cooper once said that he wants to be a Cowboys player for good. He really likes his team.

“I love being a Dallas Cowboy. Love everything about it. I think about it every day,” he said on 105.3 The Fan. “Just the aura of being a Dallas Cowboy, you can’t beat it. I want to be a Cowboy for life.”

Cooper may want to be in Dallas for life. However, the Cowboys’ front office will need to pay a lot of money to make this happen. He will probably hit one of the best wideout contracts in the league.

Head coach Belichick is ready to strengthen the offense to give Brady enough offensive weapons for the upcoming season. If Belichick wants to keep Brady on the roster, he will have to adjust his winning formula. Let’s see what happens this offseason. Great changes will happen this offseason, and things are really hot in Foxborough. How will the Patriots play this time? They better keep the star quarterback on the roster. They need Brady to win a Super Bowl.
