Rob Gronkowski Makes Young Patriots Fan Wish Comes True

Rob Gronkowski may no longer be a Patriot, but he still makes an impact. This time the great Rob Gronkowski surprised a young Patriots fan. Gronk is really active these days, and the role of philanthropist suits him really well. The Gronk Nation Youth Foundation has helped many fans. Gronk also finds a way to contribute to the game through the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Patriots Foundation.

This week, the retired tight end returned to Foxborough to join forces with the two foundations. He wanted to fulfill the wish of Connecticut kid Clark Grady. Gronkowski retired from the league the last offseason. If you ask Clark, he will say that Gronk is his favorite player. These two spent a day together at the team’s Gillette Stadium facilities. They played Madden NFL Football, visited the team’s trophy collection, and also took a peek inside the Patriots locker room. Chase Winovich and Duron Harmon were there, too.

This happened right after Gronk visited another young fan in Amherst, New York. 14-year-old Kelsey Sorensen was diagnosed with a severe case of pancreatitis and had to undergo numerous medical procedures. Her mother, Roxanne, contacted Gronk’s family in order to get some support for her daughter. She really wanted Gronk to visit the girl or at least send over a signed item.

The mother wrote that Gronk came to their house with his father to meet Kelsey. They give the girl a signed football and also signed her jersey. According to the mom, Gronk was also kind enough to donate a second ball to her benefit. They talked for a while, and it was like a dream come true for the girl. She said that Gronk “is truly a class act and an amazing person. Kelsey hasn’t stopped smiling. She will remember this forever.”

Gronkowski may be out of the football field, but his presence is still felt. The brilliant tight end had an incredible career with the Patriots, and he has made a name for himself. Gronk and his family have helped a lot of fans, and they won’t stop doing that. We believe that Gronk has a few other surprises ready for his fans. Wait for him!
