How Patriots, Kraft Used Team Jet To Get 1 Million N95 Masks

The New England Patriots and team owner Robert Kraft joined the nation’s efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19.

The organization decided to send a team plane to China earlier this week. Kraft’s aircraft was sent to pick up more than 1 million N95 protective masks. These masks will be used by medical and emergency workers as the United States. This is part of the efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus. The whole story was reported by The Wall Street Journal.
According to their report, the Kraft family bought the masks for $2 million. Jonathan Kraft and Massachusetts governor made efforts to contact the Chinese and collect the medical equipment.

Charlie Baker took to Twitter Thursday to thank the Kraft family for the efforts. He also shared a pic of the loading in China.

“No days off. Thanks to some serious teamwork, Massachusetts is set to receive over 1 million N95 masks for our front-line workers. Huge thanks to the Krafts and several dedicated partners for making this happen.”

The Patriots and Kraft made it happen

According to initial reports, the plane stayed on the ground for three hours. Crew members weren’t allowed to get off the plane. The Journal report reveals that the loading was finished in 2 hours and 57 minutes.

The Patriots owner was more than thrilled to help Massachusetts in the fight against the deadly virus.

“I’ve never seen so much red tape in so many ways and obstacles that we had to overcome,” he told The Wall Street Journal. “In today’s world, those of us who are fortunate to make a difference have a significant responsibility to do so with all the assets we have available to us.”

This means a lot to heroes on the front line. The situation can easily get out of control. Massachusetts has a lot of infected individuals, and locals will stay in quarantine until May. This was the only solution to the current situation in the state. Let’s hope that people will follow the guidelines. Wash your hands, stay home and practice social distance. It’s time to listen to those who know what they are doing. It’s time to take those warnings seriously.
