James Worthy Makes His Pick On Michael Jordan-LeBron James GOAT Debate

The NBA hasn’t provided an update on the return of the regular season. But, players will soon be able to enter their practice facilities. This leaves everyone plenty of time to talk about the greatest of all time. Yes, the most recent round of the GOAT debate was triggered by the release of ESPN’s documentary, “The Last Dance.” Seven-time All-Star and Hall of Famer James Worthy shared his take on the debate.

Worthy talked about his pick on Danny Green’s podcast Inside the Green Room. Who did he pick? You can already guess this one. He went with Jordan. Well, he has played against the Bulls legend so this pick makes a perfect sense.

“It’s tough man, I’m winning with either one. We’ve never seen a physical physique like LeBron James. LeBron James had it since he came into the league, I mean he could go play middle linebacker or tight end for the Dallas Cowboys right now…. If I had to make my choice, I’m going with MJ because I played with him. I know he’s deadly, and I don’t think there’s anybody in the league today that has the tenacity that he had. Michael’s not nice. I don’t know man, I love LeBron. I’m going to have to go with my boy, cuz he chose me.”

The GOAT debate got heated

Worthy referred to Jordan’s decision to play college basketball for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. The Hall of Famer was the incumbent star on this team.

The Los Angeles Lakers selected Worthy No. 1 overall. He spent his entire 12-year career with the team. Let’s just say that he is somehow connected to King James. At the moment, LeBron is in the second year of his contract with the Lakers, and he is definitely winning a title this time.

The GOAT debate won’t end here. A great number of stars have shared their opinion. We believe that this number would go even higher. LeBron won’t retire without a few more titles. This season is his best season. He is surrounded by a lot of talented players, including Anthony Davis. You can’t beat that.
