The New England Patriots have to part ways with veteran fullback James Develin. The fullback announced his retirement Monday and thanked everyone for their support. The Patriots had an incredible tribute video for James Develin.

Develin received a lot of support from current and former Patriots players. Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady popped in with his comments. Develin spent the last seven years of his career with the Patriots. He joined the Pats prior to the 2012 season.

New England shared emotional tribute video to honor the great player. The THANK YOU message was brilliant, and the team called him “the ultimate teammate and true leader on and off the football field.”

The fullback missed most of the 2019 season due to a neck injury. His injury led to some “unforeseen complications.” There was no other option for him. He had to retire at 31.

Develin helped the Patriots bring three Lombardi Trophies in Foxboro. He played his collegiate football at Brown University.

Many say that the Develin is unsung in terms of fame and popularity. However, head coach Bill Belichick said that for every player and coach in New England, Develin was respected and praised.

Develin had great success with the Patriots. He helped the team win three titles, and you just can’t ignore that success.

In his announcement, Develin said he had decided to retire due to the complications with his injury. It was the best for him and his family. Develin decided to prioritize his team at home before anything else.

They gave him the opportunity to pursue his dream every day for 8 years. they all helped him develop his play and his growth as a man off the football field. Develin has learned so much from the experience he has shared with the organization. These lessons will help him later in life. Develin will never forget that. His name will be written in history books, and NFL fans will always remember his great success on the field.

The Patriots are off to a new start. They will play without a few valuable players.
