Kendrick Perkins Gives Interesting LeBron James Take On The GOAT Debate

Retired NBA center Kendrick Perkins shared his take on the GOAT debate. Is LeBron James the greatest basketball player of all time? Is he better than Michael Jordan? The release of ESPN’s “The Last Dance” keeps adding fuel to the debate, and many athletes have shared their take on the discussion. But, the ESPN commentator decided to take the whole thing even further.

Perkins is known for his desire to discuss the skills of basketball players. He was a pro, remember? In his recent take, Perkins talked about his former Cavaliers teammate and his GOAT status.

“We can debate about who’s the GOAT on the court,” Perkins wrote on Twitter. “[B]ut when it comes down to who’s the GOAT off the court it’s not even a DEBATE!!! LeBron James is the Greatest Athlete off court EVER.”

Perkins won an NBA title as a center with the 2007-08 Boston Celtics. He competed against King James as a player with the Oklahoma City Thunder. LeBron played really well as superstar back them. LeBron and Miami saw “the better of Perkins” and Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. This was his very first title. LeBron and Perkins became teammates in Cleveland right at the end of Perkins’ career. They appeared in eight games together in the 2015 postseason.

Kendrick Perkins may be right

The GOAT debate won’t end here, and the documentary will keep the whole thing going on forever. Well, you can’t put an end to this debate. Every NBA fan has the right to make a pick, and we all have a different opinion.

The release of the documentary also put Jordan in the middle of a big debate. Everyone is suddenly interested in his political inactivity. Jordan didn’t want to have anything to do with the world of politics. Many said that this was a big mistake. They say that the NBA icon actually missed the chance to contribute to the community.

Well, everyone has the right to voice their opinion. Jordan decided to stay away from that. But, he probably made a mistake. A lot of people respected his word, and his endorsement could have changed a lot of things.
