Report: Patriots Return Date To Practice Fields Revealed

The New England Patriots have a date for their return on the practice field. COVID-19 affected every part of the game. and NFL teams may soon return to their old schedules.

Charles Robinson from Yahoo! Sports reported that “head coaches could return to team facilities as early as next week — with players potentially following in full-squad minicamps in mid to late June”.

There’s also a date for minicamps, and teams better get ready.

“[I]f coaches resume their in-house work next week, minicamps including players could be scheduled as early as June 15 or as late as June 27, depending on COVID-19 data and whether a handful of franchises get a ‘go ahead’ signal from state governments to resume full operations.”

The NFL has reopened some facilities, and the first personnel returned before May 19. Everyone follows strict rules and restrictions.

The Patriots may hit the practice field soon

The Patriots couldn’t resume operations, and they couldn’t reopen Gillette Stadium until the final phase of the process.

Holding minicamp practices fits in the gray area. The Patriots have excellent connections with the current administration in Massachusetts under Gov. Charlie Baker. They won’t allow any full player-to-player contact. This makes us think that the team will resume work under some parameters by the June 15-27 range.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is confident about the start of the new season. He had an interview on FOX News earlier this week and said that the NFL is “preparing to hopefully play football this fall” adding that it has joined forces with the NFLPA to “develop protocols that allow us to do it in a safe way — working it out first for our players and our personnel, and then, of course, the fans”.

The Patriots will have to face a few big challenges this season with one of them being the loss of Tom Brady. New England lost Brady and selected a few great players in the 2020 NFL Draft. this means they are ready for a great season. Julian Edelman and the McCourty twins are here. They are ready to go, and Jarrett Stidham is ready to take the leading role in September.
