Dwight Howard Brings a Kobe Bryant Inspiration With Him For Game 5

The Los Angeles Lakers will meet the Denver Nuggets for the fifth time this postseason. Players could definitely use an extra motivation for this game as it can take them straight to the NBA Finals. If LA wins, this will be their first NBA Finals appearance since 2010. In other words, this is a really important game for the Lakers. That’s why veteran center Dwight Howard decided to bring his very own Kobe Bryant inspiration.

The Lakers center showed up for Game 5 wearing a No.8 Kobe jersey. Yes, he knows how to make a good impression. Lakers players would love to see this. It’s like an extra motivation for the team.

Many would agree that the Lakers don’t need an extra motivation to win the championship. Winning this championship would be the best tribute for the Black Mamba. Kobe died in a tragic accident in January and he was traveling with his daughter Gigi and seven others. The helicopter crash took nine lives and Lakers players have hard time accepting the cold reality.

Dwight Howard to win with his Kobe Inspiration

Howard is channeling his inner Black Mamba after LA won Game 4. The job is far from finished, and that’s pretty much the same quote Kobe said when his Lakers went up 2-0 in the 2009 Finals against Howard and the Orlando Magic.

Los Angeles is trying to make the NBA Finals. In 2010, Kobe led the Lakers to the championship win over the Boston Celtics. They played seven long games, and Kobe’s team won the award.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the rest of the players are doing their best to keep the Lakers on top of the conference. They clinched the top seed in the West, and NBA analysts do admit that LA has a good chance to become a champion. LeBron made a promise and we really believe that he will do his best to keep it. Davis is looking forward to winning his first title. It’s more than obvious that these two do have extra motivation to destroy the Nuggets.
