Lakers Coach Frank Vogel Releases Statement About LeBron James Ahead Of Round 2 vs Rockets

The Los Angeles Lakers will enter the upcoming round with big motivation. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel made a statement on superstar LeBron James right ahead of the second round of the NBA playoffs. King James is doing a really good job with the Lakers, and Vogel respects that.

According to Vogel, people take LeBron’s brilliance for granted. Well, this doesn’t include the Lakers organization. Everyone respects the king in LA.

“I think the media and maybe the fans are taking for granted,” Vogel said. “But we don’t take it for granted inhouse here. Our coaching staff, front office and his team-mates, we all really understand appreciate how special his performances are and what he brings to the table. We definitely don’t take that for granted.”

Frank Vogel respects LeBron James

LeBron is in his 17th NBA season and he is 35. He has played more minutes than any other professional basketball player. The four-time NBA MVP averaged 27.4 points per game on 59.9% FG’s, 41.4% from 3, and 80.5% from the FT line. He also stacked 10.2 assists, 10.2 boards and 1.2 steals in Round 1 of the playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers. LeBron needed to take 32.8 minutes per game and that’s not too high for him.

LeBron may not be appreciated. People don’t appreciate him enough. Let’s not forget that LeBron has been in the MVP race every season since Luka Doncic and players like him were in elementary. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the only basketball legend to challenge LeBron’s longevity. So, why does he receive this treatment? Media members seem to blast him on every possible occasion. Analysts criticize him. The good news? The king doesn’t really pay attention to that. He is focused on winning his fourth title.

The Lakers have a good chance to make the playoffs and they won’t stop here. Let’s hope that the players will stay healthy and strong on the floor.
