There are 4 bold predictions for the New England Patriots Week 6 match up vs the Denver Broncos. The Patriots have been trying to get back on track after the COVID-19 virus put them back a few weeks. Cam Newton was the first player to test positive for the virus. This meant that the game in week 4 was postponed. A few other players ended up testing positive as well.

2. Cam Newton throws for 275-plus yards

Patriots quarterback Cam Newton has been doing well so far both in the air and using his legs. In Week 1, it was his rushing ability (75 rush yards, 2 TDs) doing the most work. He then had 397 passing yards the following game. Against the Broncos this week, his arm will likely be doing the work.

The Patriots’ defense played pretty good vs the Chiefs in even with a 26-10 defeat. They actually gave up only two TD’s. If you remember, one of their touchdowns came from a pick 6 thrown by their back up quarterback. The Patriots were able to hold former MVP Patrick Mahomes to a season-low 19 catches for 236 yards.

The Patriots are 9.5-point favorites at home this week. This is definitely a big spread. But given the injuries on the Broncos, the Patriots should be able to pull out the victory.
