Dwyane Wade Shares Why Lakers Adding Chris Paul Would Lead to ‘Domination’

Dwayne Wade has come out with his two cents on why the Lakers adding Chris Paul would lead to “domination.” The Lakers are just now coming back down from their high of winning the NBA title this season. It was very impressive to see them finally take another championship after such a long time.

It wasn’t as easy as it looked for the Lakers, though. This year has been very tough for everyone. The NBA had to restart in a bubble and the Lakers were one of the last two teams there. Take a look at what LeBron said about this recently.

“I am here for one reason and one reason only, and that’s to compete for a championship,” James said. “That was my mindset once I entered the bubble, once I entered the quarantine process the first two days. And then right from my first practice my mindset was to, if I’m going to be here, make the most of it and see what you can do and lock in on what the main thing is. And the main thing was for us to finish the season and compete for a championship.

Now people are looking towards next season and one of those people is Dwayne Wade. He has a plan to help the Lakers improve even more. Take a look.

“If that moment ever happens, you’re putting some of the greatest basketball minds together,” he said. “You seen it this year. When LeBron and [Rajon] Rondo was on the court together. These are two of the smartest basketball players that will ever play the game of basketball, no matter what generation. It would be two of the smartest.”

“You seen how they felt the game two, three steps ahead of the opponents. It’s not just about talent sometimes, it’s about [the mind]. Chris Paul has, he’s in that same conversation. I’ve always said LeBron, C.P. and Rondo are the smartest basketball players I’ve ever seen with mine own eyes and I’ve been around to be able to see.”

“When you think about that, and you think about what Rondo and LeBron accomplished this year, when they was on the court together, when they wasn’t on the court together, how they made that team work. If you think about adding C.P. to that same kind of mix. I mean Jesus Christ, that’s domination.”

Do you agree?
