LeBron James Earns New Nickname Following 4th NBA Title

LeBron James has earned a new nickname following his 4th NBA title. The Los Angeles Lakers were very impressive over the course of the season this year. Despite everything that has been going on as of late, they were able to keep their heads clear and focus on the important stuff. But it was really impressive what they did.

LeBron James and the team had trouble with the COVID situation and the bubble. Staying in one place for such a long time can impact anyone. LeBron talked about this recently.

“I am here for one reason and one reason only, and that’s to compete for a championship,” James said. “That was my mindset once I entered the bubble, once I entered the quarantine process the first two days. And then right from my first practice my mindset was to, if I’m going to be here, make the most of it and see what you can do and lock in on what the main thing is. And the main thing was for us to finish the season and compete for a championship.”

“So that’s just been my mindset throughout these — I don’t even know how many days it is, whatever how many days it is, it feels like five years so it really doesn’t matter. I’ve been as locked in as I’ve ever been in my career.”

But now LeBron has picked up yet another nickname after winning the title again.

He should now be known as the “Ring-Giver.” That has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?

LeBron and Michael Jordan have always been compared to one another.

“Jordan will forever be associated with the players who don’t have rings because of him, but James should be forever associated with those that do,” said Sam Quinn of CBS Sports.

LeBron talked about the season and what he tried to get done.

“So to be able to get [Davis], and we push him and let him know how great he is by just making him see better basketball and be a part of something that’s special. That’s what it’s all about,” James said. “So to be able to put him where he is today, that means so much to me and the fact that he trusts me means even more.”
