Stephon Gilmore’s Status For Patriots vs Broncos Game Revealed

Stephon Gilmore’s status for the New England Patriots upcoming game vs the Denver Broncos has been revealed. The Patriots have had a bit of a tough past few weeks. It started when newly signed quarterback Cam Newton tested positive for COVID-19. This caused him to miss a few weeks. It also meant that the Patriots game against the Kansas City Chiefs was postponed.

But the Patriots are slowly but surely getting back on track. Now it will simply be a matter of keeping this from happening again. This NFL season has definitely looked a lot different than usual.

Head coach Bill Belichick recently came out with a statement on what the Patriots are going to get back on track.

“Today’s an important day in our preparation for the Broncos,” Belichick said. “We’ve had several days now of virtual meetings between the staff members and from the staff to the players. We’ve been able to cover a lot of things, but we haven’t spent any time together, so today’s our opportunity to do that. We look forward to that. One thing that we’ve learned this year repeatedly has been we have to be ready to adjust and adapt to changes and modifications and the way we do things and, in some cases, decisions that really come down to a very short amount of time that we have to be ready to adjust to.”

“So we’re certainly taking things day by day — probably hour by hour would be more accurate. We’ll just see how we progress and then as we find out more on our end, or if there are other things externally that we can’t control that, then we’ll deal with those as they come. That’s the way it’s been all year. I think our team and our players have done a good job of handling those adjustments, and we’ll continue to do that.”

But now, the NFL’s Mike Garafolo has some interesting news on Stephon Gilmore. Take a look.

“I am told that there is a lot of confidence that Stephon Gilmore will be back (at practice) if not today, then soon enough to play in this game, as well,” Garafolo said Thursday morning. “So the silver lining in all this shuffling and all these positive tests in New England is that they’re getting two key players, if not most key players, on either side of the ball back for this game.”

This is great news. Do you think they will both play?
