Kyle Kuzma Reactivates Twitter With Strong Message

Kyle Kuzma thought this was the right time to return to Twitter. The Los Angeles Lakers forward returned to Twitter, and he did it with the right message for his haters. I bet there are a lot of people who would love to read it.

Kuzma’s very first post is actually a commercial for Puma. Maybe his decision to deactivate Twitter was actually part of the Puma campaign. The new commercial is based on all the criticism Kuzma has received in the past period.

“To whom much is given, much is expected,” Kuzma said. “But no one talks about the mental toll of expectation. Yeah, I hear you. I hear the chatter. ‘He’s not good enough. He’s not worth it. Trade him.’ Nowadays, everyone wants to be a critic. But here you go. Let’s take a walk in my shoes. For every failure, for every trial, for every negative comment, thanks for the motivation.”

Kyle Kuzma uses Twitter as a platform

Haters blasted Kuzma in every occasion. He was a constant target throughout the 2019-20 season. Let’s just say that his third season with the Lakers wasn’t a failure. Kuzma had a different role, and came off the bench as a key sixth man. He was averaging 12.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 25 minutes per game. Kuzma played well alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Some fans really viewed young Kuzma as a third option for the team.

“It’s not about points. It’s about just trying to win,” Kuzma said in the season. “Obviously everybody’s got to sacrifice and that’s just for the betterment of the team. When I have scoring opportunities, I take them, attack them and if it doesn’t happen it doesn’t happen. It’s just the way with how our team is constructed and I just got to find a way, and find ways to contribute to winning basketball.”

The Los Angeles Lakers made a lot of moves this offseason, but they kept Kuzma on the roster. He will probably stay around for a while.
