The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t have a chance to celebrate their title with a parade, but they sure hung up the championship banner. COVID-19 affected every aspect of the sport, and the champions weren’t able to celebrate their success like they are used to.

The Lakers marked their territory with the 2019-20 championship banner at the practice facility in El Segundo. It looked really well up there. The banner will definitely remind players of their incredible game inside the NBA bubble. it will also motivate them to work even harder and win the next championship.

LeBron James and his teammates won the 17th title in team history. They died the Boston Celtics for the most wins in league history. The Lakers haven’t won a title in a decade, and this year’s success is a positive surprise for many NBA analysts. Late Kobe Bryant and his Lakers team had the second end of the back-to-back titles.

Lakers to hang another championship banner

Will LA win another title in the upcoming season? LeBron is ready for that. Anthony Davis has declined his players option but he is expected to re-sign with the Lakers. General Manager Rob Pelinka is in charge of his contract. He will make sure Davis finds his way back home. The big man will sure test the open market before re-signing a deal with his former team.

When it comes to Pelinka, he has already done some smart moves. The Lakers general manager traded for Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Dennis Schroder. He sent Danny Green and the 28th overall pick in Wednesday’s NBA draft to Oklahoma.

Adding Schroder is a good move, and he will give the team a secondary shot-creator alongside King James. The four-time NBA champion will try to add another ring to his collection, and Schroder will be part of the whole process.

The Lakers also found a replacement for Green. Wesley Matthews from the Milwaukee Bucks is a good fit for the Lakers. The team is pretty serious about this year’s roster and the most recent moves are the best proof of that.
