Report: Patriots Made Decision on Running Back Sony Michel For Game vs Texans

The New England Patriots will probably have veteran cornerback Stephon Gilmore back on the field in Week 11. NFL fans have started asking questions about the other injured players on the Patriots roster. There’s an update on Sony Michel and his status for the game against the Texans.

In October, Michel ended up on injured reserve due to his quad injury. He needed a lot of time to get recover from his injury, but he feels much better now. The running back received great news these days and it affects his performance against Houston.

Sony Michel to help the Patriots win their game against the Texans

Ian Rapoport from NFL Network confirmed that the Patriots have activated Michel off injured reserve for the match against the Texans. The team had to make room for Michel on the active roster and released one of their offensive linemen. Hjalte Froholdt is out now.

Michel may not get a big role this weekend. Damien Harris had a monster performance in the 23-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Head coach Bill Belichick will probably use his emergence. Harris stacked 22 carries for 121 rushing yards in Week 10. Experts took notice of his performance, and he received nothing but words of praise.

New England doesn’t have the best season in team history. Offensive players struggled in some of the games. The situation has improved though and New England looks well on the field. They won two straight games and they will probably win the game against the Texans.

Having Michel back on the field will be of great help for the Patriots. He was brilliant on the field, but had hard time staying healthy. Hopefully, he won’t suffer another injury in the regular-season. Patriots need him healthy. Head coach Bill Belichick needs him healthy and prepared for the rest of the season.

Gilmore and Michel are key players on the Patriots roster and they will probably stay around for a while.

Let’s see how will the Patriots handle their game against Houston. Will they continue the winning streak or will they return home with a loss?
