Patriots’ Josh McDaniels Massive Salary Revealed

The New England Patriots may lose another assistant in the offseason. According to recent sources, Josh McDaniels is “a prime candidate” for the Philadelphia Eagles’ head coaching position. If he leaves the Patriots, Philadelphia will have to offer him a lot of money to match the salary he receives at the moment. The 44-year-old has been part of the Patriots for quite some time and he deserves every bit of that salary. Josh McDaniels will definitely shock everyone with his salary. This may be of great importance for McDaniels’ chances to join the Eagles.

Spotrac reports that McDaniels earns $4 million per season with the New England Patriots. This is pretty similar to the salary entry-level head coaches earn. Head coach Bill Belichick is the highest-paid head coach in the league, and it’s more than obvious that McDaniels earns a lot, too. Working with the top head coach in the NFL is a big deal.

The Kansas City Chiefs will have to give Eric Bieniemy a big raise in order to bring him above McDaniels. This may be really important if they want to make him stay with the team.

Josh McDaniels will ask for equal salary

Bieniemy is the most intriguing head-coaching candidate at the moment. He may be ready to accept the new challenge. Becoming a head coach in the NFL is like a dream come true and Bieniemy would love to coach his own team.

McDaniels enjoys great respect in the NFL. However, some teams don’t accept the idea of having him as head coach. McDaniels did get a chance to earn the position and coached the Denver Broncos. It didn’t end well as the team fired him in his second season. In 2018, the Indianapolis Colts confirmed that McDaniels will be their head coach. Belichick had a big say in the process, and McDaniels stayed with the Patriots.

The Patriots offense saw huge struggles in 2020, and this may motivate McDaniels to move on with another team.
