Giannis Antetokounmpo Shades Lakers With Postgame Comments

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has some explaining to do right now. Talented Giannis threw shades at the Los Angeles Lakers right after his team lost the game to the Utah Jazz.

“It just looks fun,” he said. “Like when I watch them play, it looks fun, it looks easy. It looks simple. For sure, they look like us last year, and man, when you’re at that point and you’re playing with that confidence you’re hard to beat for sure.”

Is he serious about it? Utah better than LA? Utah sits on top of the West? I don’t think so. NBA fans wouldn’t agree on this one.

The Bucks had the best record in the NBA last season. However, they lost to the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Utah has a 21-5 record at this point of the season and LA has 21-6. It’s funny how Giannis ignores the fact that the Lakers have a seven-game winning streak. Los Angeles defeated Milwaukee earlier in the season. LeBron James and his teammates celebrated a 113-106 win.

Giannis threw shades at the Lakers for no reason

The Lakers fell behind by 20 points in the first halves of the last two games they played. Their second halves were more dominant. LA took three of the last four games to overtime.

“There’s a little frustration,” Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma told reporters. “We should never be down 20 points at any point in time with the personnel that we have on our team. … But we’ve been through the fire, and we know how to walk people down. We’ve been having to walk people down a little too much lately.”

Anthony Davis returned to the floor after missing two games due to his Achilles injury. He finished the night with 35 points and 9 rebounds. It’s an Achilles injury but it’s not that horrible.

“As you play, always using that Achilles tendon,” Davis said. “It got sore at the end just constantly moving.”

LeBron scored 28 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists in the game against the Grizzlies.
