Kendrick Perkins’ LeBron James Free Agency Take Excites Lakers Fans

The Los Angeles Lakers are winning games, but it looks like their star player is not really happy with the current situation. In fact, LeBron James is generally unhappy this season. He expressed his concerns last season as well. Fun fact? LeBron is free to leave the Lakers in free agency and test the open market. He can join a more efficient team and win more games. The Lakers have a 30-26 record at the moment and it is not that bad at all. Well, if you ask the four-time NBA champion, he will drop another cryptic message.

The Lakers are ninth in the West and will have to fight really hard to earn their spot in the playoffs.

LeBron joined the Lakers to win games. He is a winner and he’d really want to win a few more titles before calling it career. The Lakers were close to making the NBA Finals last season, but the Denver Nuggets shut down their plans.

LeBron shouldn’t leave the Lakers in free agency

Recent reports reveal that the Golden State Warriors did an effort to acquire James. Yes, they considered making a move for the biggest star on Jeanie Buss’ roster. She and Magic Johnson managed to sign LeBron on the first day of free agency. Will Buss give up on him now? There has been some back-and-forth, but Buss and LeBron weren’t too excited about this scenario.

Kendrick Perkins from ESPN encouraged King James to stay where he is right now. He believes that LeBron should stay with the Lakers if he wants to win a championship.

LeBron looks and performs great on the floor. He is a winner and he can definitely win a ring with his Lakers teammates.

“Staying in L.A. is [LeBron’s] best chance at winning a title… This offseason, there’s gonna be a move… Imagine if he gets another superstar caliber player in this locker room.”

This makes sense on so many levels. Let’s see what happens in the offseason.
