Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma Draws Unlikely Praise From Rival

Los Angeles Lakers star Kyle Kuzma plays really well and his rival knows it best. The young player embraced his role on the team. People are talking. NBA players have taken notice of Kuzma’s growth.

The Laker averages 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks per game. Yes, these numbers may not be that great, but Draymond Green is super impressed.

“Kuz now play winning basketball,” Green tweeted. “Amazing growth in that area.”

Green finds other ways to impact a game. He is averaging 5 points per game, but Warriors head coahc Steve Kerr has nothing but praise for the veteran.

“I don’t think I need anything more from Draymond,” Kerr said. “I think his engagement has been great. He really is doing a great job leading the team. He’s very vocal in film sessions. He’s vocal in trying to lead a group of guys in how to become a team. When he is on the floor, he’s been active. He helps our defense a ton.”

Kyle Kuzma surprised his rival

Los Angeles finished the 2019-20 NBA season with a championship. Kuzma didn’t have the best season though. He ended up on the bench after scoring great points in his first few seasons with the franchise. NBA analysts thought that Kuzma would leave the team in the offseason. Remember the petition fans signed in the playoffs? Yes, there were people who thought that Kuzma should not get his ring.

Things changed in 2021.

“There is no doubt that he’s taken another step,” Vogel told media members. “(He’s shown) the mindset of buying into the role with this team, this Anthony and LeBron team, of being a dirty work guy and a guy that can carry the load offensively at times, but really someone that can impact the game in more ways than scoring.”

Kuzma uses every atom of his strength to shut down haters. A lot of people criticized Kuzma. He found the perfect response to them all. Vogel likes Kuzma’s contribution to the floor and he is trying to see the best of his players. Let’s see what happens later in the season.
