Kyle Kuzma Goes Viral for Hilarious Postgame Comments

Kyle Kuzma knows how to make people talk, and this time he did it with his postgame comments. Well, he has already done this before.

Kuzma airballed a technical free throw in the first half of the game against the Golden State Warriors.

Warriors rookie James Wiseman hit Lakers big man Montrezl Harrell, and Kuzma was picked by the Lakers to take the technical free throw. However, Kuzma is shooting 65.9% from the charity stripe and he missed it all.

The Warriors bench smashed Kuzma, and he just smiled. That’s all.

We don’t really get to see a technical free ball being airballed. Kuzma had the perfect excuse for his missed shots.

“San Francisco had a 3.5 magnitude earthquake,” Kuzma said according to The Athletic’s Jovan Buha. “S–t started rumbling. I don’t know. I got scared, and it went far off to the left.”

No, there was no seismic activity near San Francisco that night.

Kyle Kuzma makes the perfect postgame comments

Kuzma’s postgame comments made us laugh. Some of his comments are pretty awkward though. In the game against the Indiana Pacers, young Kuzma hit 24 points and 13 rebounds. His explanation for the clutch play was hilarious and awkward at the same time.

“Yeah, we were looking at each other the entire possession,” Kuzma said. “I was pretty much eye f—ing him to pass me the ball. He found me and I made the shot.”

In the last three games, Kuzma is averaging 22 points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting 47.6 from beyond the arc.

Talen Horton-Tucker was great against the Warriors. He hit 18 points and 10 assists.

“He’s a sponge. When you talk to him, you can tell it’s getting stored and he applies it on the floor,” LeBron James said of Horton-Tucker. “This is basically his rookie season, he’s going to learn from his mistakes and we’re okay with that.”

For Tucker, having Kuzma and Harrell on his side of the bench was of great help for his development.

“It makes my job easier,” Horton-Tucker said. “I feel confident when I’m out there with them.”
