Jared Dudley Reveals When Anthony Davis and LeBron James Will Return For Lakers

Anthony Davis and LeBron James have missed too much time, and fans can’t wait for them to return to the floor with their Los Angeles Lakers teammates. The purple and gold army lost both superstars to injuries. The big man hasn’t played since mid-February. LeBron is out since March 20. The good news? AD will return at some point in the next couple of weeks. LeBron will have to wait a little bit longer. He has just got his walking boot out.

Lakers veteran Jared Dudley has been working out with both superstars. He watched them closely and follows every move they make. If you ask the reserve forward, he will say that LeBron and AD will be back within a few weeks.

“A.D. is coming along. He’s on the court and doing definitely his little workouts, his calves,” said Dudley. “I’m in the weight room with him. He’s gonna be getting on the floor more this week. He’s gonna do about 30 minutes nonstop. Gonna get to playing here shortly, and so give him a couple more weeks.”

Davis and LeBron to return within a few weeks, Lakers players are excited

Davis is dealing with a calf strain and Achilles tendonosis. LeBron treats his high ankle sprain.

“‘Bron just got out of the boot. He’s moving forward,” Dudley added. “And [Andre] Drummond is back, so listen, within the next three to four weeks, we’re gonna have everybody back, and then we’re rolling.”

The Lakers struggled without LeBron and AD. Davis was the first to leave the game. LeBron led his teammates to the top and they found an efficient formula. But, losing LeBron was just too much. The four-time NBA champion is the ultimate leader. The front office built the roster around him. Players had almost no chance to win without the king.

But they won. Andre Drummond joined the team. The big man missed some time due to his toe injury. He is back now and LA also signed Ben McLemore. These two work really well with their new team. Head coach Frank Vogel is excited about all the opportunities his new players bring. Imagine them playing alongside LeBron and Davis… Awesome!
