Lakers Provide Devastating Injury Update on Anthony Davis

The Los Angeles Lakers have an injury update on big man Anthony Davis and his current health condition. LA lost two games in the series against the Phoenix Sun. LeBron James and Davis led the team to the top but the big man sustained another injury. He suffered an injury in Game 3 and suffered another one last night.

The Suns struggled without their superstar, but Chris Paul is back in the fold. Things changed overnight, and LA ended up dealing with another major injury.

The Lakers power forward fell in pain late in the second quarter. He fell from an unsuccessful drive attempt with Jae Crowder defending. AD grabbed his left leg and went to the locker room. He remained in the locker room after intermission as the medical staff ascertained the severity of his injury. LA announced that AD would miss the remainder of the match due to a left groin strain.

Phoenix finished the game with a 100-92 win. The series is tied now and players have to elevate their game in order to win the series.

The Lakers will have to do additional tests to determine Davis’ return date. Davis’ recovery depends on many factors. The same applies to the return date.

A concerning injury update on Anthony Davis

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel told ESPN that the team has enough to win games without AD. Playing without the big man will be hard, but LA has enough players to win.

Davis’ strained groin is a big blow for the team. It will affect the team for the rest of the series.

LeBron is well aware of the fact that the team will change the approach. He will see a major workload. Guess what…. LeBron doesn’t mind any of that… He has been there before.

The same happened during his time with the Miami Heat. LeBron had to play without his superstar teammates. Vogel has seen LeBron win games alone. He is a dangerous threat in the playoffs. Let’s see how will the king handle the current pressure.
