LeBron James’ Heartfelt Speech to Cast And Crew on Space Jam 2 Set

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James delivered a big speech for the Space Jam 2 set. The movie hit theaters and everyone has a chance to watch it. LeBron is proud of his masterpiece. The road to success was really tough. Warner Bros. released the original movie almost two decades ago. LeBron made it happen again

The four-time NBA champion thanked his teammates on the set. He thanked everyone for their contribution.

In a video from Sept. 2019, LeBron thanked the cast and the crew for the wonderful things they did on set.

“When I signed up for the project, I was like, ‘It’s Space Jam, it’s a movie I grew up watching,” LeBron said. “I was like, ‘Absolutely, I gotta do it. There’s no way I can turn down Space Jam. Then I showed up on set on June 17 and I grabbed my first script…and in the far right corner, that f*cking thing said, ‘Day 1’ of 58 days. And I was like, ‘Bron, what the f*ck are you doing?’

“Along this way, it was times when I was like, ‘Man, this is rough…I don’t know if I’m gonna get through it.’ And along the way, I started to pick up momentum, and I started to pick up family, too,” James continued. “No matter how long you’re together…when you’re together 12, 13, 14 hours a day, five days a week, sometimes six, you become family…I’m talking all of us. I’m very appreciative to you guys.”

Space Jam 2 set did wonders

King James has something to say about Malcolm D. Lee as well. He stepped in as a replacement for Terance Nance as director. Being part of Space Jam feels like “extra credit” after overcoming every obstacle on his way. That’s what LeBron said.

LeBron came from Akron to conquer the world. He became the best basketball player of all time. He is successful on and off the floor. Space Jam 2 is the best proof of it.

The sequel won the box office with $31 million in the opening weekend. LeBron is well aware of the fact that the original movie was surreal. He respects Michael Jordan and his artwork.
