Cam Newton Shares Hype Video Ahead Of Preseason Game vs Eagles

What’s your favorite time of the week? If you ask Cam Newton, it’s THIS time of the week and it has something to do with the preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Head coach Bill Belichick brought Newton for another year because he trusted his potential. I mean, Newton was able to carry the Carolina Panthers to the Super Bowl in 2015 and this brought him the MVP award. He didn’t win the ring but it was more than enough for NFL analysts to pour words of praise over the big man.

So, Newton is back, but he is facing an even bigger challenge this season. The veteran quarterback has to earn his spot at center. Belichick was pretty convinced that Newton will be his starting quarterback. Well, Mac Jones made things hard for everyone.

The Patriots selected Jones in the first round of the NFL Draft. They used the 15th overall to get the player. Belichick liked his potential and several analysts believe that Jones deserves to best job on the roster. He is too young and inexperienced to lead the team but his skills are insane.

Cam Newton to star in the preseason game vs Eagles

Belichick put Jones on the field in the game against the Washington Football Team. He did a wonderful job and had a better game than Newton. Sort of.

Everything points to the fact that both Newton and Jones will take the field again in the game against the Eagles.

Newton is motivated to show everyone that he is the right QB to get the starting job. Jones is trying to prove himself. Who is winning the quarterback battle?

Former Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe says Belichick should use Newton to win games. He believes that Jones should stay at the sideline for a while before he makes a start. It’s up to Belichick to make the right decision.

Newton confused everyone with his post on loyalty. He posted something about loyalty and everyone thought he was referring to the QB battle. I guess it was something personal. Was it? Newton is all about winning.
