Kendrick Bourne and Mac Jones to win a lot of games together

The 26-year-old joined the Patriots at the right time. He spent four years with the San Francisco, and the Patriots got him to add more explosiveness to the game. Bourne measures at 6’1, 190 pounds. He has seen action in 58 regular season games with 13 starts, offering 137 receptions for 1,769 yards with 11 touchdowns. The talented player played in three postseason games and had six passes for 88 yards and one touchdown.

In 2020, Bourne saw action in 15 games with five starts. He was able to catch 49 passes for 667 yards and two touchdowns. He ranked second on the team behind Brandon Aiyuk.

Bourne did see some challenges last year. Bourne missed his very first game on NFL and college level due to a positive COVID-19 test. San Francisco added him to the Reserve/COVID-19 list in November.

When it comes to his role in New England, you’d agree that he is not the most explosive player Belichick has on the roster at the moment. Well, the Patriots can definitely use his technical foundation and excellent football IQ. Belichick needs players with strong physicality and that’s what makes Bourne an excellent option for the team.

Bourne is a good fit for the Patriots and experts believe he will be used to fill the Z-receiver role or move to the X and slot positions.

The veteran inked a three-year deal with the Patriots. He is a cheap player and the Patriots can definitely afford him. They are focused on the game now and Bourne has to add even more numbers to keep his team up. New England had some struggles early in the regular season and this may make things a little difficult for everyone.
