Mic’d-Up Mac Jones Making Weird Sounds Before Patriots-Jets Is Going Viral

The New England Patriots beat the New York Jets in Sunday’s game. It was a wonderful win for Bill Belichick’s team and Mac Jones warned his opponents with his weird sounds.

You read that right. The first-round pick of the 2021 NFL draft was caught firing himself up right before the game. Watch the video below, and you will hear Jones grunting. Yes, the guy hypes himself up and we all know why.

Mac Jones shocked opponents with weird sounds and great performance

The Patriots trusted Jones enough to give him the starting position on the field. The Alabama quarterback beat Cam Newton in the quarterback competition and earned the top job. I guess Patriots fans really liked the decision Belichick made. Newton was a great guy but Jones has this little something that makes him a good option for the team. Maybe he will be the quarterback of the future for New England. Can you imagine him beating Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4? This will be the night you don’t want to miss.

New England had great moments in New York. Players seem to have developed excellent chemistry. Jones was able to connect with Jonnu Smith and James White and this link will help the Patriots win a lot of games in the future.

Jones’ performance caught the attention of many current and former players. Former Patriots wideout Julian Edelman was among the first to praise the rookie. Edelman saw something great in Jones and he even said that the signal-caller has an incredible chance to lead the team to the top. Jones has better stats than other quarterbacks in the group. Belichick made a good choice, right?
