Lakers Release Injury Report For Sunday’s Game vs. Rockets

The Los Angeles Lakers have released the final injury report ahead of their game against the Houston Rockets. NBA fans were really interested in LeBron James’ status for the game. As you may be guessing, LeBron was listed as questionable for the game.

Trevor Ariza will miss another game due to his right ankle injury. Talen Horton Tucker and Kendrick Nunn are also out. Tucker recovers from his right thumb surgery and Nunn is dealing with a right knee bone bruise. Wayne Ellington missed a lot of time due to his left hamstring strain. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel predicted an early return for Ellington. He said that Ellington is working his way back.

Lakers release final injury report

LeBron missed a couple of games due to the soreness in his right ankle. However, he joined his teammates in the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was a nice win for the team and LeBron did his regular thing on the floor. NBA experts have voiced their concern for LeBron’s soreness and Vogel plays safe with his superstar. That’s why LeBron found himself on this list again.

Seeing LeBron back in the game shouldn’t come as a surprise at this point. He looked good in the game against his former team. The four-time NBA champion played 38 minutes and finished the night with 26 points, eight assists, three rebounds, and three steals.

Lakers big man Anthony Davis deals with soreness in his right knee and the Lakers listed him as probably for the game.

LeBron, AD, and Russell Westbrook will be leading the way for the Lakers. There’s no room for concerns in this aspect. Westbrook had some struggles early in the season but he was able to fit in the fold. He had great performance in the last few games. Let’s not forget that the Lakers are at the beginning of a really long season. Players need time to find their tune. Hopefully, they will avoid serious injuries. Staying healthy is a priority right now. LA has a lot of veterans on the roster and severe injuries can change the gameplan overnight.
