Shaquille O’Neal Delivers Clear Message After LeBron James Suspension

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal didn’t miss the chance to talk about LeBron James and his suspension following the altercation with Isaiah Stewart. The four-time NBA champion got into a thing with the Detroit Pistons big man. He ended up elbowing Stewart in the head, leaving him with a bloody face. Stewart got really mad and he even ran over coaches and players to get to LeBron. Oh, yes, he really wanted the fight. His teammates stopped him before it was too late, but Stewart rushed into the tunnel to get to the Lakers bench. We could see the police, too. That rebound turned out into a mess.

Stewart and LeBron got ejected and the NBA suspended both players. King James sat out the game against the New York Knicks and Stewart will miss two.

O’Neal supports LeBron James, doesn’t approve his suspension

Some people think LeBron’s elbow was intentional. Shaq is not one of them. He doesn’t believe that LeBron wanted to hurt his opponent. You’d never convince O’Neal that LeBron wanted all of this.

“LeBron’s been in the league 18, 17 years, he’s never been that guy… But Stewart reacted like he was supposed to react.”

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel shares the same opinion. He said that LeBron is one of the classiest guys in the NBA. Vogel is well aware of the fact that LeBron “plays the game the right way at all times.”

“It’s unfortunate. We all know that LeBron is one of the classiest guys in the league that plays the game the right way at all times,” Vogel said of LeBron’s suspension.

LeBron sat out just one game, and his team lost it. Of course, his teammates did a good job but the Kicks did a little better. Russell Westbrook shocked opponents with his MVP performance.

King James will join his teammates in the upcoming game and there’s no room for panic right now. The Lakers have to improve their record but things seem to be falling in the right place. Injured players are making their way back. Everyone has to stay healthy and focused right now.
