Frustrated Kendrick Bourne Offers Update On His COVID-19 Symptoms

The New England Patriots will be without a key player in the game against the Buffalo Bills. Kendrick Bourne was added to the COVID reserve list and he is a bit frustrated. The situation in New England wasn’t that scary but losing Bourne is a big blow for the team.

The Patriots wide receiver and three other ended up on the COVID list. Harvey Langi, Cameron McGrone, and Ronnie Perkins tested positive. Head coach Bill Belichick needs Bourne on the field but he will be without his star player. Many would agree that Bourne is the most explosive weapon in Belichick’s passing attack. New England has to play without Bourne at this point.

Unvaccinated players have to spend 10 days away from the team. Vaccinated players can return to the field after providing two negative tests.

Kendrick Bourne hasn’t developed any COVID symptoms

Patriots fans follow Bourne’s situation. Patriots defensive lineman Davon Godchaux engaged in an exchange with Bourne on Instagram. The receiver provided a short update on his health. As you may be guessing, he is asymptomatic.

Godchaux: “U ok bro?? That COVID got your ass huh?”
Bourne: “(Shaking my head) this some (expletive) I’m fine tho no symptoms.”

We don’t have much information on the vaccination status of Patriots players. Bourne hasn’t made any comments about his vaccination status. Did he get the COVID vaccine? If he misses the game, the Patriots will struggle against a tough opponent. Their receiving unit is not that deep at this point.

The New England Patriots looked really well a few days ago. This time the situation is a bit concerning.

Head coach Belichick was visibly frustrated following the loss to the Indianapolis Colts. It was a really disappointing game. New England has a 9-5 record. This lose put an end to their winning streak. Let’s hope that they won’t go through the same again. Bills players will be motivated to “return the favor” and beat the Patriots.

Patriots players have to stay healthy and safe to finish the season with success. They have a few games left on the schedule.
