LeBron James Rips NBA Over Health and Safety Protocols

LeBron James has ripped the NBA over their health and safety protocols. The Los Angeles Lakers have struggled very much to start the NBA season. They have been plagued with injuries and most of all, very poor play. It has been a bit of a surprise considering what people thought the Lakers would be.

Now they are having even more issues. COVID is heating up again and is taking its toll on the team. LeBron James talked about it recently.

“Besides last night being able to go to my boys’ game … pretty just confused and frustrated, angry,” he said about his strange week. “Just not being able to do anything. I haven’t been able to do anything besides sit in the house since I got back Monday evening. All the way till like, I got cleared at like, four o’clock yesterday afternoon. And this morning was the first time I got an opportunity to actually touch a basketball since Sunday’s game vs. Detroit.”

“Usually when you have a positive test, they’ll test you right away to make sure,” James said. “There was not a follow-up test after my positive test. It was straight to isolation and you’ve been put into protocol. That’s the part that kind of angered me. I had to figure out a way to get home from Sacramento by myself. They wouldn’t allow anyone to travel with me, no security, no anything, when I traveled back from Sacramento.

“And then I had to put my kids in isolation for the time being, the people in my household in isolation for the time being, so it was just a big-time inconvenience. That was the anger part.”

“I knew I was gonna get cleared, because I never, ever felt sick at all. And I know you can be asymptomatic. But, if what I had was a positive COVID test, then what are we doing? Like what are talking about? I just thought it was handled very poorly.”

What do you think about what he had to say?
