Colin Cowherd Lauds Mac Jones, Basically Picks Patriots To Beat Bills

Colin Cowherd had something to say about Mac Jones and his chances to win his first playoff game… The New England Patriots will meet the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. They have a good chance to beat their opponents because they have already won one game against them.

Cowherd first compared Jones to Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Both players had similar numbers in their rookie campaigns. The host also talked about the weather. According to him, the weather will play a big role in the game. Patriots players are used to playing in bad weather. Jones is fine with whatever weather he gets to play in. It’s all part of the game. The right mindset, right?

“I have no idea how Mac Jones will do this weekend,” Cowherd said. “I had my doubts with both (Jones and Prescott). But what separates Mac and Dak, and it usually isn’t this, we ask our NFL quarterbacks to be unfairly mature at 23 years old. And both Mac and Dak bring that in bunches. Mac was always good at the podium this year; Dak, four-five years in, has never made a mistake at a podium — not one time.

” … So, I have no idea if (Jones) is going to win, but I feel like I’ve seen this before. For the record, zero degrees, not ideal weather, usually the better quarterback in bad weather struggles. Josh Allen, Mac Jones, I suspect we have a potential upset this weekend.”

Colin Cowherd talks about Mac Jones right before the game

Will Patriots fans agree with Cowherd? New England is playing a big game this time. In 2020, the Patriots missed the chance to take part in the playoffs. Things took a better turn this time. Mac Jones helped the team finish the season with a 10-7 record. Belichick was right about the rookie. Jones really is special. Of course, some people doubt his potential just because he didn’t provide consistent numbers throughout the entire season.

Rob Ninkovich is a fan. He recognized Jones’ potential and even blasted opponents. Will Jones prove them wrong this time?
