Former Patriots Player Uses Best Tom Brady Nickname In Tribute Post

Tom Brady was honored with a nickname pretty much every time he won a ring. The GOAT is the most fitting nickname for the seven-time NFL champion. Yes, we all know that Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time. He was a dominant force for 22 years. TB12 earned an army of supporters throughout the years. People really love him! This includes current and former players.

If you ask former Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes, he will say Brady is “The Pharaoh.” Wonder why? For obvious reasons, of course. Spikes used this name to irritate his teammate. In a good way, of course. As you may be guessing, the former Patriots quarterback hated it.

Spikes doesn’t mind any of this. Moreover, he used this nickname in his tribute message for the quarterback.

In his message, Spikes said Brady was the “greatest competitor” he has ever known. He couldn’t believe that Brady would bring his career to an end at this point. We have a good reason to believe that pretty much every NFL fan felt the same way. Many thought that Brady would play a few more reasons. His game was elite. Even Alex Guerrero said the same. Pliability, remember?

Brady was the best player the NFL has ever seen. He was also an excellent teammate. Spikes had the opportunity to watch Brady do his thing on and off the field. The former Patriots linebacker wrote that Brady was passionate in every aspect of the game. He put the same passion in his “work” outside the stadium. Spikes was privileged to have him as a friend.

Spikes is really confused. He is devastated. Sad. The greatest quarterback of all time announced his retirement. A lot of fans share the same sentiment.

Brady’s retirement was the hottest topic in the last couple of weeks. Adam Schefter reported it first. Brady waited for a few days before he made the final decision. It’s the end of an era. I guess younger NFL quarterbacks can catch a breath of relief right now.
