Lakers’ LeBron James Gives Crucial Update on Ailing Knee

The Los Angeles Lakers got their superstar back in the fold and things will probably take a better turn now. LeBron James missed time due to his injury and he has just provided an update on his knee. The four-time NBA champion feels great and he is ready to do his best in the next few months.

LeBron may be back on the floor but he is still receiving treatment for his knee. He is 37 and Frank Vogel has to be careful with him. Reporters asked a lot of questions about his knee, and LeBron was loud and clear. He feels “pretty good.”

“Obviously yesterday was like around-the-clock treatment and rest, as much rest as I can get,” the Lakers superstar said. “And today will be the same thing. Obviously I feel pretty good today, looking forward to how I feel tomorrow and go from there. But I don’t think I have a setback and I just want to try to continue to keep the treatment and the rehab and things I’ve been doing over the last couple weeks to get back on the floor, so I’m gonna continue that over the next 24 hours.”

LeBron James provides an optimistic update on his knee, still gets treatment

LeBron sat out five games and his injury happened at the worst moment. Anthony Davis had just returned from his injury. He and LeBron didn’t have much time together on the floor. LeBron’s knee injury made everything worse. He had to miss time again and his absence was a big blow for the Lakers.

“Very frustrating obviously because the game that we had in Brooklyn, it was AD’s first game and I felt like it was a small dosage of what we could possibly see with the potential of our team and everybody getting back healthy,” LeBron said of his injury. “And then I wake up the morning of the Philly game and my knee is just a total wreck. It was just very disheartening to not be able to close out that trip after having started the trip 2-1. I feel like that was a big trip for us and me not being in those last three games, it hurt.”

LeBron spends one million each year. His body gets proper treatment. Yes, LeBron gets the best of the best because he can afford it. He deserves it, too. LeBron is the highest-paid player in the NBA and his impeccable routine has helped him accomplish a lot of great things.

King James will enter free agency in 2023 and his oldest son Bronny will be eligible to join the NBA in the same year. This fact has fueled a lot of rumors about LeBron’s departure from the Lakers. If LA doesn’t draft his son, LeBron will sign with the team that gets Bronny.
